Sarah Bruning Meron

IBM: VP, Corporate Communications
Sarah Meron leads the Corporate Communications team at IBM, overseeing earned media strategy and owned media content for the company. Prior to IBM, Sarah led the Communications function for Gap Inc. and its portfolio of seven brands (including Old Navy, Banana Republic and Athleta) where she was responsible for external and internal communications. She served as corporate communications lead at Yahoo, leading corporate, policy, business-to-business and internal communications, in addition to acting at the primary company spokesperson. Sarah also held a variety of communications roles at American Express supporting merchant services, corporate affairs, advertising, M&A and mobile payments. She began her communications career in a series of PR roles at Carnegie Hall.

Sarah is based in New York City. She studied Political Science and Anthropology at Vanderbilt University, and graduated from Columbia University’s Masters program in Strategic Communications.
