In the wake of U.S. protests this spring that inspired a worldwide movement to end ongoing systemic racism and social injustices, calls for more change and less talk out of corporate Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion efforts rightfully soared. DE&I leaders soon found themselves on the front lines, helping their employers respond to a frustrated public that demands more empathy, advocacy and action out of companies.
